I thought the face of this dragonfly resembled a bulldog. And, yes, she grasps a bean pod. I didn't see the pods a couple of days ago when I photographed the 'Sweet Pea'. Either things grow quickly here, or I need to be more observant.
Talk about gossamer wings! Her red eyes caught my attention first. Unfortunately, she closed her eyes in all the photos. If you click on the photo to enlarge it, you get a great view of her hairy legs, although she might not appreciate it.
I walked back along the Corniche from the Oasis restaurant, having had a nice fish dinner with a friend and her fiance.
