Happily I can report that my eyes were open for most of today. My energy nose-dived after a morning spurt of sweeping house and baking a spinach quiche, so the heat continues to zap my energy. Since today is the weekly holy day of rest and meditation, I didn't feel so guilty for today's view, which comprised a good book and a whirling fan.
