We enjoyed spending the afternoon with a friend -- our first lunch guest! We sat on the balcony, chatting, watching egrets fly past, and relishing the quiet of a Friday afternoon. Escorting her back to the ferry, we walked along the embankment, amused by all the naval activity of cruise boats, feluccas and motor boats.
On the way home we rented bikes in the village. The scope of our adventures will now broaden -- starting tomorrow. Stay tuned!
