Driving home after a lovely visit with a friend and her daughters, I realized that I forgot to take a picture of the flavourful Bijoy's restaurant, the dancing bear slippers or the fresh-baked strawberry jam squares. Shame on me! Needing material for today's post, I took a detour along Lake Ontario. Detours (and indulgences) are benefits of this blog.
Fish and chips, or hamburgers and hotdogs, beside the lake at Hutch's diner is a long-standing tradition.
All was peaceful and calm
I took so many wrong turns on the drive home that you wouldn't believe that I lived here. Nevertheless, the scenery was spectacular so I told myself to enjoy the ride. It was a great day!
