My day was spent sitting at the computer trying to make progress on the report for which I have a mere 8 days to finish. (!) As sunset approached I was anxious for some fresh air and open space so the Time Traveller and I went out to dinner at a restaurant beside the Nile and taking a bit of a circuitous route on the bikes to get there.
In a Nile-side field a hoopoe (Hod Hod) was hunting for her dinner too. Pecking at the ground she was finding lots of bugs for her evening feast.
I love the view of the patient Time Traveller... hungry but patient....and the other view of the patient bird awaiting its feast ...
