Ripening Crops
The grain is ripening, glowing gold in the afternoon Sun. Harvest time must be approaching. Egyptian wheat grows only waist high in small fields. I'm not sure what the farmer will do with this particular crop because it appears to be half wheat and half ragweed but I enjoy walking past it because of the colour and the coolness that emanates from the field. Very refreshing.
