Gas Prices

The only thing that we can be sure rises faster than the price of gasoline is the skyrocketing profits of oil companies.
Major R. Owens

As gas prices soar in the homeland, a friend asked about the cost here. I was able to check the pumps today as we filled up the van in preparation for our Travel Tuesday journey. At LE 1.10 per litre (that is less than 20 cents US) here in a country that imports oil, the mind is boggled trying to find logic in world pricing. Thankfully, I could smile nonetheless due to the sight of a fellow filling up "jerry cans" laid out on a donkey cart. Home delivery, me thinks.
