Tea to Go

Here is the West Bank's version of Tim Horton's. The man at the 'counter' makes tea to go -- if you bring your own glass. Adel, our driver, only ever orders 'shay' (tea), but I'm sure Turkish coffee is also available. If time is not of the essence, a person could sit in the outdoor, 'air-conditioned' seating area and watch the news on the TV. There is a shisha pipe in the back corner. It would seem that all amenities are offered; I have not, however, checked out the WC. ;-)

This evening we braved the hot temperatures and enjoyed the view and dinner at the St. Joesph Hotel's rooftop restaurant. Ra set into the depths of the hot sandy haze.
