The Warmth of Tulips

If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.
Anne Bradstreet, first published female writer in the British North American colonies (1612-1672)

The temperatures outside remain cool but my soul rebounds with warmth gazing upon the yellow tulips that came home with me from the grocery store. They are cheery nourishment for the soul.
